Are you planning an internship in Denmark, or does your business wish to host an intern from abroad? AYA Legal Group helps clarify the basis for residence and prepare the application, giving both the intern and the host an overview of the process.
Internships and education
The intern scheme covers the green sector, health, architecture and other fields. The internship must relate to your education. Age, education, language and host requirements vary by sector. EU/EEA and Swiss citizens follow EU rules. Permission is tied to the specific internship and host.
How we can assist
- Identifying the relevant scheme for the intern and the business.
- Reviewing education records, the internship agreement and the planned programme.
- Advising on documentation and preparing the application.
- Submitting the application and handling correspondence with the authorities as agreed.
- Assessing the next steps if circumstances change or an extension or appeal is needed.
A shared overview from the outset
We start with your circumstances and the host organisation’s needs. We clarify what needs to be assessed and which information we require. We then agree the scope of our work and our fees, so you understand the assistance you will receive.
Send us a brief description of your education, the host organisation and the proposed start date. We can then discuss how best to prepare your matter.
Processing time
Green sector: currently up to 6 months. Health, architecture and other fields: normally 3 months, or up to 4 months if further information is required.
The times below are the authorities’ published estimates, not a guarantee for your case. They may change.
